Installed: Color-Blocking (Kinda)

Install \in- ˈ st ȯ l\ : To use a Right-Click Save to inspire you to try something new.

Good morning, loves! Hope you had a wonderful weekend. My boyfriend and I went to one of our favorite sushi spots. We've been going there every Saturday for at least a year now, and we love that the waitstaff already knows what we want. I also did an insane amount of online shopping. I went to several malls and stores, but wasn't all that successful. Can't wait to show you what I've scored!
Enough rambling...here's my first Install (to continue with the technology theme of this little blog).
I wore this dress I've had for two years now out with my bestie over the weekend (shout outs to S. for snappin' my pics). I call it "kinda" color-blocking because I really wanted to challenge myself by using bright, vibrant colors to try the trend. But since 1) I'm sure you're all tired of seeing only pics of my shoes and 2) I am technically wearing blocks of "color", I'm sharing the photos anyway.

Just looks like your ordinary, run-of-the-mill LBD from the front (not sure what's up with my facial expression at this moment *ha*)

But wait...the back of the dress is white (insert "oohs" and "aahs" here)!! The clutch is perfect for fashionably hiding my post face-stuffing belly pooch :o)

I paired the dress with my Holy Grails . I need a security escort when I wear these shoes out...someone's always threatening to jack them from me!

Have you tried the color-blocking trend? Did you use bright colors, or play it safe with B&W?
I do plan on being adventurous and bustin' out some bold hues. Of course, I'll give you all a look-see when I do!
Happy (yeah right) Monday, loves!!
