Apply essie base coat, followed by 2 coats of your favorite essie nail polish.
Finish by applying a thin layer of matte finisher in place of a top coat.

WHY I LOVE THIS PRODUCT

Though this top coat finish came out back in Fall 2009, I didn't get a hold of it until now. This matte finisher is much different than the other top coats that I have tried previously because it dries really fast. I put it the first layer on and within five minutes the top coat was dried. I love the results that I get from this product because matte nails are so stunning. Another advantage that I found with this matte top coat is that it's very long-lasting. My nail polish lasts twice as long with this top coat and it seems to prevent chipping as well.
However, I had such a difficult time looking for this matte top coat. I'm not sure about the States, but in Canada, I couldn't find it in any of the stores that sold Essie nail polishes. I ended up getting this on Ebay and paid a dollar more than the price listed on Essie's website, which is $10 USD. Thus, it is a little expensive to get a hold of this matte finisher. But if you are into matte nails, this product is perfect for you because it can honestly transform any nail polish into a matte finish. It's absolutely stunning.
