WHY I LOVE THIS PRODUCT
The formula for these lip-gloss is creamy and smooth. The lip-gloss contains light oils and spherical powders, which gives fluidity and comfort. The gloss is also very pigmented and unlike most lip-gloss, it's not sticky. They are packaged in a clear tube with a sponge tip applicator. The gloss has a smell similar to a lipstick but it's not overwhelming. There are enough pigments in these to wear alone, but it looks really lovely worn on top of the Burberry Lipsticks to enhance the color of your lips. It reflects light to create illusion of a plumper, fuller lips. It also has a hydrating formula that keeps lips replenished.
I actually didn't intend on buying the lip-gloss. But when I was at Holt Renfrew on Bloor, it didn't take long for the Burberry lady to convince me to get the lip-gloss as well. (I had previously purchased the lipstick in the nude colour as well). She told me that the lip-gloss will make the nude colour look less chalky. With that, I was sold. To my surprise, I was actually more impressed with the lip-gloss than the lipstick itself. Thus, I'm pleased that I had purchased this and I would definitely go back to try out some of the other colours. However, $30 CAD for a lip-gloss is a little pricey. But remember, it is Burberry! :) Another downside is that this cosmetics line by Burberry is sold exclusively at the Bloor Street Holt Renfrew. Thus, I have to travel to downtown every time when I want to purchase something from this line. It can get a little irritating because I rarely travel to downtown.
