WHY I LOVE THIS PRODUCT
I was contacted by BH Cosmetics to do a review of one of their palettes. They decided to send me the newest edition of their 88 colour palettes: The 88 Color Tropical Shimmer Palette. I had actually received this palette a little over 3 weeks ago, but didn't get the chance to write a review on it until now. (I still have so many other products that I need to be reviewing). I don't even know where to begin with this palette! I'm once again "WOW"-ed by one of these 88 palettes that are being sold on the internet. If you remember, last month I had received another 88 palette by Sedona Lace. The colours from this BH Cosmetics palette is very similiar to the Sedona Lace one because the colours are all very pigmented and long lasting. However, I like the shades on this BH Cosmetics one better than the Sedona Lace one because the colours are very unique. I love warm colour shadows and this palette definitely fulfills my expectations.
The product was also packaged very tight and neat. Not a single eyeshadow was broken during the shipping process, which is another plus in my point of view. The shipping was also extremely fast. Even though I live in Canada, I got my palette in the mail within the week that it was send out, which is quite fast! Here are some photos of the box and the packaging:
Here is a swatch of 3 random colours. The shadows are so easy to work with and easy to blend. They don't smudge or crease at all! And with a price tag of only $24.95 for 88 colours, they are definitely to fall in love with. Another good thing about this specific palette is that on the front cover, it actually says, "BH Cosmetics, 88 Colour Tropical Shimmer Palette". This makes it very easy to know which palette it is without having to open the box. So when you have more than one 88 palettes, it's easy to distinguish between them just by looking at the cover. I know that other 88 palettes do not have the name printed on the front.
Lastly, the only thing that would be a problem with this palette is the price of shipping for international buyers. I know that these 88 palettes are really hard to get for people living outside of US and Canada because shipping is so expensive. BH Cosmetics do ship internationally, but the "international Shipping method is USPS Priority International (8-10 business days) $39.95" with a tracking number. That's almost the price of two palettes! Other than this issue, I think everything else is amazing regarding this Tropical Palette!
