Last month, I received this lovely package from Misikko.com for me to review some of their products on my blog. I was so shocked when I opened the package to find not only the neatly packaged items, but they also included a little rose for me. Such a romantic touch! Haha! John, the contact from Misikko, was only suppose to send me the Chi Silk Infusion and the Hana Shineshield Heat Therapy, however he also included other sample products for me to try out as well! FOR BEST RESULT
Since this is a leave in treatment, I would suggest using this on freshly washed hair prior to styling. Apply a small amount into palm of hand and work evenly throughout your hair. Leave in and proceed with styling. It is best to use CHI Flat Irons & CHI Hair Dryers for best results because they have salon technologies such as nano silver and tourmaline to cater to delicate hair textures. WHY I LOVE THIS PRODUCT
I use a flat iron or curling iron on a daily basis. Thus, my hair definitely goes through a lot of heat on a regular basis! Thus, using a heat protection is a must for me! I'm really happy that I discovered this product because it's simply amazing! Here is a photo of my hair after using this product:
I love the feel of my hair after I have used this product! Not only does it make my hair feel so soft but it also leaves it feeling silky. My hair doesn't get greasy at all and it adds a really nice shine to my hair. I applied this product mostly to the ends of my hair because that's where my hair is most dry. I only need to use about a quarter size of the product before I start straightening it. And a little bit of this item goes a really long way! I've used this product for over a month now on a daily basis, and it's as much the entire bottle is still full. You really only need a pea size amount for all my hair! Amazing!
The downsides that I see with this product is the smell. The smell isn't that bad but it is fairly strong for a hair product. It's not unbearable, it's just a little different. However, this is a very bias opinion and the smell does fade rather quickly. Also, this product is rather pricey. I've read reviews before about how Target sells it for $20-$25 USD or so.
