WHY I LOVE THIS PRODUCT
I have to say that after the first application of this product, I was in love! For a drugstore brand, I am truly impressed. The colour is so unique and it's unlike anything that I've seen so that's why I had purchased it. The shade itself is a gorgeous grey blue that looks lovely with fair skin. The polish wasn't too thin or goopy, but instead it had a really smooth text that went on easily. The opacity of the colour was perfect, just at the right level of matte. The brush is, similiar to the Rimmel's one, square and flat. At first it seemed like it might be hard to use, but it was actually extremely easy once you get use to it.
There's also a great selection of colours that range from sheers to darks. The improved 5 in 1 formula includes base coat, strengthener, grow treatment, color and top coat, is incredible! For the lighter colours, you can actually skip the base coat. I would honestly compare this formula to O.P.I, it feels so similiar when you're applying it though it doesn't last as long as O.P.I polishes. From a packaging perspective, Sally Hansen really put time into this one. The shape of the bottle is very unique - not quite square shaped and not round either. The bottle itself is quite heavy and thus, it doesn't look and feel cheap. The cap has a nice black trim which is a nice final touch. Drying time was a bit slow but you can always seal it with a fast dry top coat. The price is also quite expensive, ranging from $7.99 CAD to $9.99 CAD. However, you can be like me and stalk up when there's a sale. I got mine from Wal-Mart last month for $4.99 CAD. I will definitely be buying more shades from this line!
