PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Founded in 1892, the Rosebud Perfume Company set out with a simple mission: To provide simple, multi-usage products that are both affordable and effective. With the creation of the world famous, cult-favorite Rosebud Salve that boasts to be the cure-all for a wide array of skin ailments from blemishes to chapped lips to dry elbows, the family run Rosebud Perfume Company has solidified its place in cosmetic history.

This cult-favorite, minty, multi-purpose lip balm soothes dry lips, calms and heals irritation, and soothes the sting of minor burns. Try dabbing on dry elbows or knees to condition, and relieve dryness. It contains a blend of essential oils of rose and peppermint.

FOR BEST RESULT
Use fingers or lip brush to apply the lip balm onto chapped lips. If you want lips that are not chapped in the morning, just apply this prior to going to bed every night.

INGREDIENTS
Cotton Seed Oil, Borax, Aromol, With Essential Oils in a special Petrolatum Base.

WHY I LOVE THIS PRODUCT
This is currently my favourite lip balm at the moment! I have used it every single day since I purchased it from American Apparel. I love the tingle and minty feeling that it leaves on your lips. It's very smooth and slick and the texture is very similar to Vaseline. It has a subtle glossiness to it and it looks great underneath lipstick or lip gloss. It definitely works great as a base. It helps the lip stick or lip gloss glide on better and creates a more pumped look. Though this product is a lip balm, it can also be used on dry skin as well which makes it multifunctional.

Also, I find that this product can last for a long time on the lips even though you don't need too much of it. I went applied this prior to skiing one day and my lips remained smooth and hydrated without having to reapply. The only downside that I see with this product is the fact that I would have to apply it with my fingers. The company did have a Rosebud Salve in a Tube but I had wanted the lip balm and not the salve. I had paid $9 USD for this at American Apparel but I think that Sephora sells it for $7 USD. It is a little pricey for a lip balm, but the product is amazing! It doesn't have a taste to it which I love because I can't stand lip balms that has a strong fruity or candy taste. It grosses me out sometimes.

Many people think that this has a rose smell to it but it's not suppose to. Only the Rosebud Salve has a rosy smell to it. This mint lip balm kinda smells like baby powder with a bit of menthol. I actually really like the smell because I've always liked the smell of baby powder. This is definitely a holy grail item for me during the winter!
