teen vogue february

I'm in the February issue of Teen Vogue talking about East Coast versus West Coast fashion with Julia. I'm obviously a born and bred California girl but have always found inspiration in both perspectives. LA gets a bad rap sometimes for being sloppy or showy or complacent but done right, the undone look it's known for is pretty sweet. I'm going to sound like a crazy hippie right now but the beaches and deserts and mountains and forests here make me feel alive in a way that has a lot to do with how I put clothes together. Though layering opportunities in New York give me the chance to make use of my inexplicably large jacket/coat collection. How would you describe the differences between the two?
