sleepwalking
(vintage shirt, shorts from Kiliwatch, Céline sunglasses and sandals, Theory bag)

Slipdresses, pajama tops, and now actually pajama bottoms too - somehow they've ended up peppering my daytime wardrobe. There's something kind of lazily attractive about the whole idea to me of styling one awkward piece to make it appropriate for the street. The comfort factor plays a part too. I found these tiny scarf-print (as in sewn together from a pre-existing scarf) tap pants at Kiliwatch, the Marais' vintage mecca. This store is just room after room of meticulously organized vintage, it's nothing less than overwhelming, but only because you want to leave having found the most special pieces. I bought a couple other pairs in the same cut, one sheer enough to actually have to stay indoors.
