WHY I LOVE THIS PRODUCT
When I first heard about this product, I couldn't wait to get my hands on them! Being such a BIG Revlon lip product fan (read my previous reviews here), I just had to get my hands on these! I just love the idea of having a lip-balm and lipstick merging into one amazing product! Basically what these lip butters are are pigmented lip balms that moisturize your lips but add some fabulous colour as well. When they had first came out in America, I saw so many swatches all over the internet and I knew exactly what shades I had to get. I literally stalked my local Walmart to see when these would arrive! And then they did, I was the first one to purchase them! With 20 shades, I think it's fair to say that there's a suitable colour for everyone!

The price is also pretty reasonable. I find that Walmart have the cheapest price without any sale for $7.98 a piece. (I have also heard that Rexall had a BOGO sale before on these). So I definitely think that it's quite affordable. I also really like the packaging as well. Similar to their Colorburst lipsticks but with a more transparent lid, which I really enjoy. Since these are more of a balm-based lipstick, the colours are more sheer than regular lipsticks. They all still have a great deal of pigments and at the same time they are very hydrating on the lips. However, do not get fooled by all the delicious names of each colour, these lip butters do not have a scent or taste to them at all! Here are the colours that I have:

015 - Tutti Frutti
I'm usually not a huge fan of coral colours (I'm more of the nudes/pinks type of girl) but when I saw this colour swatched, I couldn't pass it up. It goes on sheer but you can build up the color to about medium opacity. It feels fun and festive, it's definitely wearable! I won't be wearing this now but I'll be saving it for the spring season! It'll look great with some bright coloured clothing!

055 - Cupcake
This is definitely a pop of colour. Cupcake is a pale blue-based pink. It's very similar to the MAC Viva Glam Gaga and the pink is very, very pink! Thus, it's not as wearable as some other shades of pink. The swatch is very light, however it's buildable. I really like the colour, the consistency, and the fact that these leave my lips feeling hydrated.

060 - Gumdrop
This is my FAVOURITE colour out of all the ones that I had purchased! Gumdrop is a light lilac color with a hint of shimmer. I don't know why, but I'm really loving lilac lips lately! It's fairly pigmented, and I can get a good color with only a few swipes. This colour will go well with the Revlon Super Lustrous lipgloss in Lilac Pastelle! They are a perfect, perfect match!

070 - Cherry Tart
Once again, I'm not usually a red lips type of girl either because I find that they always make me look so old! However, I finally found a red that's more workable to my liking! Since it's more sheer, it's much more pleasing my lips. Cherry Tart is a shimmery blue-based red and its medium-intensity will work for me because I'm scared of full-on red lips. I would have to say that this colour is probably my 3rd or 4th favourite out of all the colours that I own.

075 - Lollipop
This is my second favourite colour! Highly pigmented to create a gorgeous bold lip that will not dry out. This is the most pigmented stick out of all the ones that I own. Thus, you have to be really careful when applying it on. Lollipop is just a fabulous bright fuchsia with a touch of shimmer.

080 - Strawberry Shortcake
This is a much more wearable pink in comparison to Cupcake. It's just a little lighter than Cupcake so I would think that it can be worn on a day to day basis. This product goes on smoothly and effortlessly. The colour shows up on the first swipe and can be intensified with additional layers. The colour looks great even on my pigmented lips.

095 - Creme Brulee
Creme Brulee is the last colour that I had picked out and even though that it's a nude colour, (nude lipsticks are my favourite all time colour!) it's on the bottom of my list. Now don't get me wrong, it's still a very nice colour but it's just not as special as all the other colours from the Lip Butter series. Comparing to all the other colours, this one just fall short a little because it's so mundane for me. But I still love it and still pull this out to wear every other day.

I would say that there are 2 downsides to these lip butters. The first one is that they tend to transfer really easily. I guess it's because they are more of a balm-based and that's why they tend to glide off of the lips. So this means that you'll be spending more time reapplying the product more regularly. The second downside is that even though these have great moisture, they do not contain any SPF in them to protect your lips from the sun! L'oreal just came out with something similar to these, called Colour Riche Balm (just bought one a few days ago to test out!), which does contain SPF 15. Also, Maybelline Baby Lips also contain SPF 20 as well (I have also purchased 2 of these to test out). I feel like every drugstore brand is coming out with these balm/lipstick fusions all of the sudden!
