WHY YOU SHOULD SKIP THIS PRODUCT
This is also one of those products that I had dread to review up until now, mainly because it's one of those items that I would never re-purchase again. I remember being so excited about trying this product out when it had first appeared in my local drugstore. I quickly purchased it without even thinking twice because it sounded very promising. However, it was just a waste of $50.
As you know, my battle with acne has been a long and tedious one. I hoped this product would really help my adult acne. What Zeno did do, for what it's worth, is bring down the swelling for a while after each use. After use, the spot is (temporarily) flatter and hurts less. But the results never seemed to last. Overall it is really time consuming. This is because you have to stand there with the head in contact with the acne spot for the 2.5 minutes. Plus, one treatment is usually not enough and if you have more than one pimple on your face, it can take quite some time.

The heat sensation varies from time to time. At first I had thought that it was because of the battery life, however, even when I switched to a brand new battery, it still varies in the degree to hotness from treatment to treatment. I found that to be really strange. I have also heard that the heat can actually cause scarring. Not sure how true this calm is because I didn't encounter this problem. Also, it drains so much battery. Even when I used rechargeable batteries with this product, it was still only good for 2 days or so before I have to charge the batteries again. This really annoyed me greatly.
The product cost about $50 but it only last for around 80 times as advertised. However, I purposely kept track of how many times I have used the product before it stopped working. I calculated that it only lasted for 54 uses before I had to throw the entire thing into the garbage. So do some math, it's around $1 per use, which can add up to quite a lot. I do admit that it has a very nice design and packaging, which makes it very easy to carry around. But that's about the only thing that the Zeno Hot Spot has going for it.
