WHY I LOVE THIS PRODUCT
I bought this almost over 6 months ago and I have been using it religiously. This is definitely one of my go to beauty tool that I use on a daily basis. I've always been a firm believer about investing in a good eyelash curler because I find cheaper eyelash curlers always clip my eyelids. This eyelash curler is definitely worth every dollar that I paid for ($22 at Sephora). The curler is easy to handle and it fits my eyes perfectly and it makes my eyelashes very curly and more defined. With a gentle squeeze, you get a natural looking curls and makes your eyes look so much larger. My eyelashes did’t look crimped or bent and with a coat of mascara, the curl lasts all day. I'm definitely replacing this one with my previous one by Canmake.
I do have to say that you need to be extra careful about applying too much pressure. If you do, your lashes may break. I know that sounds extremely dangerous, but that's just the worst case scenario. Another downside is that you can't purchase those refill rubber pad. According to the box: The Shu Uemura eyelash curler will perform consistently until the 2 silicone rubber pads wear down. With daily use, one silicone rubber pad will last approximately 3 months. After the accompanying refill is used, please replace the curler with a new one to assure maximum precision and to avoid damage to the eyes or lashes. However, I've been using mine for around 6 months and I still have not notice any changes in its performance.
Verdict? I'm super happy with this product and would be more than happy to repurchase this again!
