Woot! Finally The Simple brand arrives in Canada! I have heard amazing things about this brand because of its claim to be all natural and suitable even for people with extremely sensitive skin. It's also apparently very affordable in the UK for around 2-3 pound. So you can probably imagine my excitement when I saw this line of skincare product at my local Walmart.

WHY I LOVE THIS PRODUCT
My have I only discovered makeup wipes now? They are so easy to use and on lazy it does the perfect job at removing all my face makeup. This wipe doesn't irritate my eyes nor does it dry out my skin, which is GREAT! One of the thing that I had always been worried about with makeup wipes is that the label will not stay shut and as a result will dry out the wipes. However, this wipe by Simple stays CLOSE! It's super sticky so my wipes remained moist. The size of the wipes are huge! This means that it can cover my entire face easily.
There are downsides to these facial wipes though. First, they do not remove water proof makeup as its calm. Thus, I still have to use a separate eye makeup remover for my water proof mascaras. Second, the price tag. While my Bobbi Brown cleansing oil can last me for more than 6 months (I got mine on sale at the MAC sale for only $15), these wipes can only last for 25 days. And with the price tag at $7 (Walmart), the price can add up in half a month.

WHY YOU SHOULD SKIP THIS PRODUCT
So after having such a great experience with the facial wipes, this eye makeup remover is a huge disappointment. Not only did it not remove my mascara but it didn't even wipe off my eyeliner! It kind of just smudged my makeup rather than wiping it off completely. Plus, it was really harsh on my eyes and it made my eyes red after using it. It was really stinging my eyes. I really hated it and I would not recommend buying this product! At $7, I rather buy the Neutrogena Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover instead.
Since I had already purchased this item, I decided to use it now as my makeup brush cleaner. And I must admit, it works very well as a brush cleaner! Haha! But if you are looking for a decent eye makeup remover, please stay away from this one by Simple
