WHY I LOVE THIS PRODUCT
These lipsticks are true gems! I'm constantly looking for something that's a hybrid of a lipstick and a lip balm, and of course when I heard that L'Oreal is coming out with something similar to the Revlon Lip Butters, I have to try them all. Thank you L'oreal Canada for sponsoring these for me to test out! :D And you might notice that these packaging are a little different than the ones from the store. That's because these ones are from the UK release and then US release ones comes in a rectangular packaging.
Here are the swatches of them. (In the same order as they are displayed in the first photo). As you can tell from the picture, they aren't really a lipstick formula nor a gloss formula. The colour pay off is very natural and pretty. In comparison to the Revlon Lip Butters, I find that they are much lighter and glides on much smoother. The weightless feel and wear is definitely something that is unmatchable. Unlike the lip butters, these are more like a lip balms as they are much silkier, while the Lip Butters are more the a butter. These give medium coverage to my lips (I do have very pigmented lips). They wear for about 3-4 hours before I have to reapply.

However, the one downside about these lipsticks is that they are not as pigmented as the Lip Butters. (But that might be the result of them being so weightless and smooth) I also find that their colours are not as unique as the Lip Butters, like Lollipop and Gum Drop. To be honest, it's really hard for me to choose between the Caresse or the Lip Butter. I find myself constantly reaching for both of these products equally.

You can find them at your local drugstores or at Walmart for around $8-$10 CAD. (Or you can purchase online here or here)
