WHY I LOVE THIS PRODUCT
I don't even know how I'm so late on this review of the Urban Decay Naked Palette! I've had this for quite sometime now and I can honestly say that it's my HG palette! (I have the Naked 2 as well but I still love the original one more) I dare to even say that I use at least a shadow from the palette on a daily basis! I just cannot run away from this the colours inside this palette. This is without a doubt a product that's worth all the hype and in my books, there's no comparison or dupe. It is probably one of the best things in my makeup collection. If you are someone like me who does neutrals, Urban Decay Naked Palette is a must have.
Every single shade is so pigmented and of such good quality, one swipe of shadow and it's already enough. Depending on the look you want to create, all of them are very buildable and all have amazing staying power.
Sin - A champagne shimmer
Naked - A matte buff colour, it's really good for the all over lid colour.
Sidecar - A shimmer/metallic darker beige
Buck - A brown matte, perfect for the crease
Half Baked - A gorgeous gold shimmer shadow
Smog - A golden brown shimmer
Darkhorse - A beautiful chocolate brown with a hint of shimmer
Toasted - A light burgundy shade with a hint of metallic
Hustle - A metallic dark off-purple shade
Creep - A near-black metallic
Gunmetal - A dark grey metallic, I love using this colour for my outer corner
Overall, these shadows are amazing! And honestly, I don't think they are be replaced or have dupes that are close! It's honest the only palette that I need for the rest of my life! It even has a nice mixture between shimmer and matte colours, which I absolutely love! Yes it's pricey at $60CAD for the palette, but it's worth every dollar! The only complaint that I have about the shadow is the packaging. (But of course they have already fixed that up for Naked 2) This palette comes in a brown, felt, flip-lid box. This is a problem because it can get dirty very easily. There's a very handy mirror in the lid too! The magnetic lid keeps everything in place.
