PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Naturally flushed, rosy cheeks are a great way to look fresh and healthy. Streaky, glaring cheeks are a great way to look clownish. Avoid the latter with theBalm® cosmetics’ InStain® Long-Wearing Powder Staining Blush. The buildable formula comes in a range of skin-flattering, natural-looking hues and stands up to heat and humidity.

INGREDIENTS

FOR BEST RESULT
Dab your blush brush into the color, tap off excess, and dust it onto the apples of your cheeks. Don’t be intimidated by the neon-ness, but be careful to use it sparingly—a little goes a long way! The lightweight powder is made for layering, so you can build to achieve a bright, rosy hue.

WHY I LOVE THIS PRODUCT
Hands down, my favourite blush at the moment! You can purchase your The Balm Instant Powder blush from Nail Polish Canada here ($22.00 for 0.20 oz.). Shipping is currently free for Canadian residence at no extra cost and no minimal purchase! First let me talk about the packaging. Even though it's a paper package, it still feels very durable and complete with a mirror on the inside. I really enjoy how sleek it is, which makes it very compact and easy for any girl who's on the go. This means that it's perfect for packing for your travel journeys. I also really like how it's printed like an old-school magazine on the cover. It's very unique and something that's very different from usually blush designs. There are 6 different colours available for this collection by The Balm and the colour that I have chosen is called Toile. The colour itself is a warm coral with some red undertones. I'm usually drawn towards light pink colours for blushes so I decided to pick this one which is a little out of my comfort zone. And it did not disappoint!
The powder itself is very pigmented and true to color from the pan. The coverage is very buildable instead of being too dramatic. Since it's so pigmented, I have sometimes gone too dark with this blush. Thus, I would always suggest to just lightly sweep the top of the blush with your brush instead of a hard swipe. You can always adjust the intensity more readily using this method.
I love, love, love the texture of this blush. It's very soft and finely-milled. It's not very powdery but smooth. It blends very easy on my skin and does not shift throughout the day. It's definitely my most long-wearing blush that I have in my collection, which lives up to the long-wearing claim. The Balm really has great face products and these Instain blushes come highly recommended by me!

Nail Polish Canada is currently doing a $75 Gift Card for The Balm here! You simply just have to enter your email address and the winner will be announced on September 15th. Or if you want, you can directly buy the blush here!
