Is it too early to decorate for Christmas?
Nah!
I love showing different ways to use our beloved Antique Cistern (Cup) Chains...so I thought I would pull out the ol' paint brush and add a little something extra to show how to get creative with these fabulous finds.
Our Cistern Chains are salvaged from old farmsteads and ranches in the mid West; where back in the day, they pulled the water up from the wells and filled the large cistern tanks that held water for their homes.
You've seen me post how these make fabulous Rain Chains (and at a fraction of the cost of a Copper rain chain!)
Each zinc cup has a link at the top and a tab at the bottom to allow you to separate or attach. Hang them horizontally and fill with candy canes, herb and holly sprigs and vintage Christmas mercury glass picks!
Attach and hang vertically.
