The towering platforms of Fall 06 seemed to have quickly evolved into towering tools of torture for Spring 07. Models on the spring runways teetered, tottered and occasionally tumbled while attempting to strut their stuff.

And while I love a high shoe as much as the next girl...what concerns me is the somewhat staggering (ha ha) stature of the new breed and the new S&M slant on the accesories. Don't get me wrong...by spring I'm sure I'll be lining up with the rest of the fashionistas...but right now i'm still enjoying bathing in the shock of it all.
