What better way to kick start 2011 with a little bit of shopping at Vaughan Mills? I swear, it's the only mall that opens till 7pm on January 1st. It was a family day for JL and I as we spend over 7 hours at the mall today with my parents and my aunt who's visiting from Hong Kong. The original plan was for us to go skiing, however with the unexpected warm weather and rain in Toronto, we were forced to postpone that plan. As a result, we arrived at the mall bright and early and didn't leave until it closed. I would argue that walking around for 7 hours is just as, if not even more, tiring than skiing for 3 hours. The buffet dinner at the end of the night was quite fitting because we all skipped lunch to continue shopping. We stuffed ourselves wth Italian food at Frankie Tomatto's and thus, I'm so full that the thought of sleeping right now sickens me. I swear, no more all-you-can-eat ANYTHING!
