[FASHION MAGAZINE] - BEAUTY PANEL #4: HOW TO DO A CAT-EYE
Mood [Full]
Currently Playing [None]

Due to my busy schedule last week, I wasn't able to participate in the Beauty Panel last week. But I did manage to squeeze in my entry for this week. This week the panelist were asked to share our tips and tricks to master the winged-eye liner. I always wear a cat-eyed liner and thus, I was super excited to share my tips. If you are interested in knowing what they are, free feel to scroll down below or check out my post for Fashion Magazine here.
It’s really simple to apply the cat-eye liner. The trick is to apply the liner with an angled or pointed brush from the inner to the outer edges of the upper lash line. Now everyone’s eye shape is different so you really want to think about your specific eye shape when you are trying to make the right winged tips. You can easily do this by following the slants of your eyes.
So what if you can’t make straight or sharp lines with the brush? Here’s my secret: hold a business card against the outer corner of your eyes in order to use it as a ruler. You can also hold the business card at a 45-degree angle starting from your outer corner for the top part of your liner. Lastly, if you really can’t make a straight line, use an eye shadow to make your winged tip first before going over the shadow with a liner. Eye shadows are always much easier to erase if you have made a mistake.
