Fashion Time   +  style

*Sew It Up*: Pencil Skirt

I started *Right-Click Save* because I constantly pulled style inspiration from pictures I find online, especially from fashion bloggers. But I believe this is the first time I've been inspired by a blogger to take on a new hobby. Mimi G of Mimi G Style has an incredible gift. She sews, and many of the outfits on her blog include pieces that she has made herself. I was blown away the first time I came across her site--so much so that I ran out and found a used sewing machine so I could start learning to sew as well! I'm just getting started with this, and I'd like to share my progress with you all in a new feature called *Sew It Up*. This first skirt is based on a video that Mimi G posted for an easy pencil skirt. Making the skirt itself was super easy, but I did have some issues. I've now started taking classes with a wonderful instructor, and now I know how to make this skirt look even better. I'll probably redo it sometime this week. But here is my first attempt! Oh, here's the tutorial video if you're interested in sewing it up too!
