Tucker
The new addition to our family; Tucker is a rescued Dachshund/Terrier mix; he is 4 months old and has already bonded with his new Mummy and Daddy.
He is a present from my Sister and Brother in law; also known as 'Dr. and Mrs. Doolittle'.
I had been hoping for a small rescued dog for a while; especially as I've been reading more and more about how people living with chronic pain benefit from dogs/animals.
Tucker has never seen a cat before, so he's very curious and loves to chase after the feline princesses (unfortunately). He wonders why they don't want to play with him. We'll work on this.
He's sleeping and eating well, he tells us when he needs to go outside. He has explored part of the garden; he loves to run over and grab a big mouth full of chives to eat! Then he samples to mint, the lemon balm, etc. (He came to the right place, no?)
He loves cuddling, playing with his toys and sleeping on his vintage boys baby blanket (50's baby blue with Scotty dogs on it).
He barks and growls at my vintage cement garden pig that is bigger than him. He hasn't figured out that the pig is not going to sneak up on him as soon as he turns his back.
He runs a million miles an hour from one end of the house to the other, undecided if he wants to be close to Mum or Dad and of course likes it best cuddled in between both of us while watching a movie.
