Very protective of our back garden, we had to warn customers of this little guy.
We often heard 'What the heck was that, a bee!?' and 'Did you see how BIG that bee was?'
I've nicked him 'Flash'
He's very curious when I start dragging stuff outside to photograph for the blog or my Etsy shop...he visits and chit-chats with us when we are weeding the strawberry patch or sowing seeds in the new raised beds.
...but if you are new to our garden, he's going to immediately let you know who Badger Potager really belongs to from mid February to September.
So for all you new folk visiting us for the first time; While we do have LOTS of bees (and very happy that we do!)...we do not have mammoth bees, it's just one of our many protective hummers!
